A 14 year old girl skies into a tree on an an intermediate run in Breckenridge. She was wearing a helmet at the time but it appears she died from chest injuries. The girl, has been named as Haley Gans, from Colorado Springs. She was skiing on the Spruce Trail which is a blue run. [...]

A 56-year-old Illinois man was killed Sunday when he slammed into a tree after being hit by another skier at Breckenridge Ski Resort.
